The Lifestyle - Starts at $550.  We will set up at your home or place of work to uniquely capture your buseinss, hobby or passion.  This session includes 20 digital files + 5 retouched digital files and licensing.  The final black and white images provide a unique feel and perspective!

The Session

Headshot sessions are fun and easy. We will review your shots after the session so you may select your favorites before you leave!


Wear something that makes you feel confident. Avoid busy patterns and stripes. Basic black is always a perfect choice!  If you elect to go with colors, avoid neon and select colors that accentuate your skin tone.  Layering is always a great idea! Feel free to bring a few options and don't limit yourself to seasonal clothes. 

Hair and Makeup

The All Business sessions include a professional makeup application at the studio, but you are always welcome to come makeup ready. Our other sessions do not include makeup, we do have an in-house makeup artist and would be happy to schedule an appointment for you!  She is available for hair styling as well as professional makeup!

Your Files

You will select your final images, which will be retouched and sent to you within 48 hours.  You will receive high-resolution images for printing and websites.  


A 24 hour notice is required for cancellation or rescheduling. There is a 50% retainer fee  and retainer fee are non-refundable if session is cancelled or changed.

When should I book my session?

Portraits: I typically book 3-4 months out. However, contact me to see if I have your needed date available.

Maternity: Since I tend to book portrait sessions 3-4 months in advance, this goes for maternity sessions as well. I like to photograph moms-to-be between 30-36 weeks. Please contact me well in advance so we can schedule your maternity session within that window.

What is the best way to contact you?

Email is definitely the best way to get in touch with me. Just click on the “contact” tab, or email me at I am quick to respond to emails, and you will get a response to your questions ASAP. Evenings and weekends are reserved for my family, so I do not answer calls outside of those hours. Email is always the quickest and easiest way to contact me with questions. Please avoid using Facebook messenger as I do not always receive these messages. 

Why do outdoor family portrait sessions take place in the evening?

The golden warm look you see in a lot of my photos comes from the ideal lighting conditions that take place about hour or two before sunset. If the sun sets at 8:00pm, your session will generally take place at 6:30 to give you that beautiful glow that takes place during the “golden hour.” Some families ask if they can schedule a session at an earlier time, however, I would not recommend it. Harsh shadows tend to be present, and you will not get the beautiful golden look if you choose a different time of day. I do have 10am spots available. All family sessions are scheduled during evening hours to ensure you get the most beautiful family portraits possible. I promise it will be worth it to shift around your schedule for a day to get those gorgeous photos!

My contact hours are Monday – Friday 9am to 5pm

I schedule all sessions Monday – Friday and I am closed Saturday – Sunday

Why don’t you schedule family portrait sessions on the weekends?

Time with my family is extremely precious to me.  All sessions are scheduled during the week days (M-Fri), so I can devote my time to my loved ones on the weekends.  I know this may be tricky to work around with schedules, but my family time is my top priority. Thank you for understanding!

How do I prepare for my session?

Family portrait session clients will receive a detailed prep guide to help you plan and prepare before your session. It includes details on what to wear and what to bring! I will also send you a link to fill out a brief questionnaire to help me prepare and tailor your session just for you!

Do you travel for sessions?

If sessions are booked far enough in advance where I can plan ahead, am happy to travel for a family portrait session. However, there is a travel fee of .75 per mile for distances over 30 miles from 90501. Please inquire for travel pricing if needed. Mini sessions are not available for travel. Family portrait sessions take place at an outdoor location. I have a favorite location for sessions, but I also love letting the family decide on the location to create a unique portrait backdrop. If you do not know of a location, I would be happy to give you directions to my favorite spot!

What types of payment methods do you accept?

I accept check, cash, money orders, and credit card payments securely through Paypal.

Can we bring grandparents, aunts/uncles /cousins to the session?

For Family Sessions: For larger groups with extended family members (such as grandparents)  please ask for a quote. Separate family groups (aunts, uncles, cousins) will need to pay a separate session fee.

 May we take pictures at our session?

Absolutely no videos or professional DSLR’s are permitted during any session. However, I do not mind phone snapshots during your newborn session to document this special time!

Can we copy poses and photos I saw on Pinterest?

I enjoy parents input, but please keep in mind that the photos you see on my website or Facebook are a representation of my particular work style, and most of your session will tend to reflect that soft organic look. I will be happy to incorporate any props you bring, but ask that you keep them to a minimum, and limit them to sentimental items. However, there are some poses I do not feel are safe for your baby, and those poses I will not do. Your baby’s safety and comfort are my number one priority.

How do I book?

A $175 creative retainer fee is required to book your date along with filling out an online contract. Your date is not booked until the retainer is paid. You will have 7 days to pay the retainer, and after 7 days your date will be released to the next client in line.

The $175 creative retainer fee  is put toward your total session.   Your retainer is non-refundable;  however if you need to cancel, you may use that retainer towards another session at a later time.

When and how will I get my photos?

After your session has been paid in full, your photos will be hand edited and retouched. I take time to make sure each photo in your gallery is perfect! They will be ready for you to view in your private online gallery within 2 weeks.

After your portrait session you will get an email to set up your viewing and ordering session to see your portraits for the first time.  When you we meet, you can choose to purchase what you love.

Can I order prints or canvases through you?

Absolutely! In your gallery you will be able to purchase high end gallery wrap canvases, and archival quality prints in a variety of sizes for your home!



If you’re just wanting someone with a fancy camera to show up and get those posed smiling shots, I might not be the best fit.  If you are shopping around finding the cheapest deal, you might not value what I want to give you. In order to book your session, I require that we do a pre-consulation meeting to go over your session.  At this time you will get to see the product that offer and the collections that you can choose to purchase.

Session fee includes the time and talent of Nichanh Nicole Photography, 1 hour session at an agreed upon location, 50+ hand crafted and artistically edited images presented in a private online gallery as well as a keepsake slideshow.

All prints/digitals are sold seperatly and can be purchased from one of my Four Popular Collections.

Collections start at $750 and include high resolution digital images for personal printing as well as shopping credits for boutique items.

Pre – Session Consultation Your time is valuable and I am sure you are busy. So let me quickly show you why a consult is so important and how it benefits you: - Expectations: this is the perfect time for you to ask questions or voice concerns so I can make this an enjoyable experience for you. - The Session: we will discuss how to plan for the actual session (wardrobe choices, locations, etc.). - Personalities: so you can show me who you are and what you want me to capture. - Pricing/Products: you will come away knowing exactly what you want to spend and what products you want to spend your money on. Now back to the “time is valuable” part. I can meet you at your home or a local cafe/coffee shop. You are also welcome to meet me in my home studio/office if that’s easier. A date is set up to meet and go over your session. I will go over what to wear, what to expect for your session and go over product that I offer.


By now you’ve paid your creative fee and booked your session, and had your pre-session consultation. Congratulations – you are officially ready for your photo shoot. Here is an overview of what to expect: – Plan Ahead: Planning ahead is so helpful. If we are meeting on location, use Google maps the day before to plan your route. If children are involved, pack a snack, treat, water, etc. the night before. You may want to check the weather too, while you’re at it. All this said, if something happens, try to be flexible and don’t stress. It will work out and it will be great. – Look Good: One of the most difficult things about a photo shoot is finding something to wear. Trust me, I’ve spend months looking for the “perfect” outfits. I’m here to help – send me cell phone photos of what’s in your closet. Check out the ideas I have posted here. Most importantly: don’t stress! It will come together and you will look amazing! - Have Fun: Okay, a photo shoot is not a trip to Disneyland (that’s probably a good thing, actually), but it doesn’t have to be painful either. The goal is to have a relaxing time doing what you do best: being yourself. Let me do all the work and worry about catching the moments. You just enjoy.


You did it! You made it through your photo shoot. Now comes the wait. But don’t worry, it won’t be long… your pictures will be edited and ready for viewing within two weeks of your photo shoot. Shortly after your shoot, we will schedule a time to get together for your Session Premier (preferably in person with Skype being another alternative). During the Premier, you will be able to view the special video I will have created just for you that shows all of the beautiful photos from your session. - Location: I’m happy to meet you in the comfort of your home or you can come to my home studio, whichever works best. - The Goods: Based on what we discussed in your pre-session consultation, I will have examples of the products you are interested in so that you can see how they look and feel and how they might look in your home. I even have a nifty iPad program that takes a photo of your wall and then shows you how your pictures will look once they are hung. - Ordering: I’ll be honest with you: placing your order during your Session Premier is the easiest way to go for both you and me. In fact, you receive a 10% discount on the products/digital files if you order during the Premier. But I don’t want you to feel pressure either… so you will have three days to look over your online gallery of photos and make your final decision should you need it. Just keep in mind that after those three days, your gallery will be taken down and there will be a $50 charge to reload it. As a side note: there are payment plans available to you, so feel free to let me know if you are interested in those. - Delivery: Once your products have been ordered, they will be delivered to you within two – six weeks, depending on the product itself. That’s it. My goal is to make this an easy and enjoyable experience, while offering you quality products and excellent customer service in the process.
